Your money stays held until the game is yours.
When you buy on Boros, the seller is only paid after the game has been transferred.
1. You pay
Your money is set aside with Boros.
2. The seller transfers the game
Boros checks on Roblox that it is really yours.
3. The seller is paid
After a protection period of a few days.
If the game isn't transferred, you will get a refund.
What if something goes wrong?
- 1
The seller doesn't transfer the game
They have 7 days to do it. After that, the order is canceled and you get a refund.
- 2
The seller says it's done, but you don't have the game
We don't take their word for it: Boros checks directly on Roblox who owns the game. As long as it isn't you, they are not paid. They can redo the transfer; if they don't manage it before the 7 days are up, you get a refund.
- 3
The seller kept access to the game
For example a role in the group, or a second account. Report it during the protection period: they are not paid until that access is removed.
- 4
The seller takes the game back after the transfer
Report it during the protection period. We check on Roblox: if the game is no longer yours, you get a refund.
- 5
You and the seller disagree
A Boros moderator looks at what Roblox says and at your messages on the site, then decides. The money stays held until their decision.
- 6
You notice a problem after the protection period
The seller has already been paid: we can no longer hold the money. That's why you need to check everything during the protection period.
- 7
Someone asks you to pay outside Boros
Say no and report the message. Outside the site, no one can refund you.
The protection fee
Added at checkout. For a €1,000 game, you pay €1,050.
What it covers
- Checking that the seller really owns the game
- Your money set aside until the transfer
- A refund if the transfer doesn't happen
- A team that settles disputes
A payment made outside Boros has none of these protections: if the seller disappears, no one can refund you.
If you sell: the security fee
Deducted from what you receive. For a game sold for €1,000, you receive €950.
What it covers
- The buyer's money held before you transfer the game
- Proof of your transfer, verified on Roblox
- A team that settles disputes
- The payout to your account
